A new year, a new toy to test. First attempt at Quixel’s Mixer using a quick 5 minute model I made in Maya.
My first impressions, “feels a lot like Quixel’s updated version of the Quixel Suite for Photoshop.”
Still haven’t found it’s equivalent to NDO so far. Also noticed the Mixer’s paintbrush seems to lag a lot on my Intel i9 machine 🙂 Feels just like those good old early buggy days of Quixel. But this time, a lot more stable…just one crash in one day!…
Still very glad its free to use now. And always amazed at the awesomeness and improvements of texturing softwares in these recent years.
